Each of these will give you important initial knowledge and explanation of the Center for Youth Studies or CYS. All topics will have some or all of the following documents free to print out or email to a friend: Overview, Articles, Books, Research, Resources, Discussions, Interventions, Programs and Case Studies. This is a rich and unique resource.
5. Under RESOURCE CENTERS you will find primary social systems influencing children and youth. We emphasize the dynamic interrelationship of these social systems and then introduce you to organizations and websites specially dedicated to working within this system. 8. People often want simple answers to matters complicated by human personality and diversity of interactive social systems. There are no simple answers to the problems young people face. They (and we) are confronted by dysfunction (and resources) from our society generally, from family, communities, school, peer groups, religious organizations and the media. These social systems are highlighted on this site, and you will find them under Resources, as well as under their topical names in our Encyclopedia (EYS) (such as Family, Community, Media, Schools).
